Split/Second: Velocity offers 'pure explosive racing'

28th May 2010

Xbox

People who are looking for a fast-paced racing game for their Xbox 360 could find it in Split/Second: Velocity, if one reviewer is to be believed.

Writing for Play.tm, Paul Govan praised the game for its attention to detail and noted that it "takes us back to the halcyon days of pure explosive racing".

He explained that Split/Second: Velocity is an arcade racing game, where "the racing itself is able to take the front seat".

Mr Govan pointed out that the unique selling point of this Xbox 360 console game is that you can "destruct the track" in a bid to wipe out your opponents, using various powerplay actions.

His overall verdict is a positive one, which could inspire gamers to try and win Xbox 360 console games in online auctions, such as those offered by Quick2bid.

You could pick up an Xbox 360 game for a fraction of the retail price when you bid in the penny auctions at Quick2bid.
