New series of The Inbetweeners starts tonight

13th September 2010

Fans of The Inbetweeners are likely to be settling down in front of the TV tonight (September 13th), as a new series of the sitcom premieres on e4, those looking to enter online auctions for DVD box-sets may be interested to note.

The programme, which is now in its third season, stars Simon Bird, James Buckley, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison as Will, Jay, Simon and Neil - four teenagers trying to make their way through sixth-form life.

New to the cast for this series is Hannah Tointon, sister to former EastEnders' star Kara, who will play Tara - Simon's love interest.

Speaking to the Essex Echo, Hannah's dad Ken states he is looking forward to seeing his daughter on screen.

"The show is something everyone can relate to. It's really funny," he claims.

Those looking for a reminder of what happened in the previous two series may want to enter penny auctions for DVD box-sets, so they can re-live the adventures of the gang.

Bird can also currently be seen on BBC3 panel show The King is Dead.
