Reviewer praises LG 47LD950
13th September 2010

People keen to recreate the 3D viewing experience they may have had at the cinema in their own home may want to enter online auction for televisions, following one reviewer's praise of an LG TV.
Writing for Trusted Reviews, John Archer points out that the 47LD950 comes with four sets of 3D glasses, meaning those with Blu-ray players and 3D discs - which they may have won in online auctions - can enjoy films in such a viewing format straight away.
However, the TV is also more than capable of broadcasting high-quality 2D pictures.
"With normal Blu-rays, the 47LD950's pictures look full of texture and sharpness, giving us all those HD flourishes and subtleties we so love to see on a big-screen full HD TV," the reviewer notes.
In addition, the TV can play DivX HD video and mp3 audio files direct from USB storage devices as it was given an overall rating of seven out of ten.
Last month, the publication noted that the Sony Bravia KDL- 52HX903 has "a suitably opulent design".
By entering online auctions for televisions you can get your hands on top of the range home cinema equipment for a fraction of their recommended retail value.
