Premier League fixtures announced

The fixtures list for the 2010-11 Premier League season have been released, giving sports fans a chance to plan for the year ahead.
With the World Cup in full swing, followers of the beautiful game may be a bit preoccupied but any who want to start booking sports tickets for the forthcoming domestic season can pick out the most enticing fixtures.
The first games of the season will kick off on August 14th, with Liverpool hosting Arsenal, Newcastle travelling to Old Trafford and current champions Chelsea welcoming West Brom to Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Premier League newcomers Blackpool will play their first game at home against north-west rivals Wigan.
And with less than one month between the end of the World Cup on July 11th and the start of the next football season, fans will have little time to miss the sport.
Supporters could even be at some of the matches if they enter online auctions to win tickets.
