Reviewer finds "little to fault" with new Apple iPod Nano

15th September 2010

Following a number of improvements carried out by Apple, those looking to bid on penny auctions for mp3 players may find the latest iPod Nano to be a particularly attractive product, should the comments of one reviewer be anything to by.

In a piece of Expert Reviews, Jim Martin points out that "Apple has changed tack completely with this sixth-gen model", as this latest incarnation of the range incorporates a touchscreen instead of the clickwheel that came with previous models.

Mr Martin also points out that the new iPod Nano is now around the same size as the Shuffle, while a clip on the back allows users to attach the "featherweight" mp3 player to their clothing.

"If you're more into your sports and prefer a smaller, lightweight music player, there's little to fault with the Nano," he states.

The reviewer goes on to claim that the gadget can double up a voice recorder, stopwatch and countdown timer, while "it seems inevitable" that people will be able to download applications from Apple's App Store.

Earlier this month, T3.com's Luke Peters claimed that the new iPod Shuffle is the most compact version of the mp3 player that Apple is yet to produce.
