Juicer is a 'great summer kitchen appliance'
26th July 2010

People who want to make the most out of their kitchens can do so by adding a range of different appliances and one that is particularly good in the summer is a juicer.
This is the opinion of Theresa Rose, who wrote on the Helium website that a juicer is "a great summer kitchen appliance".
She explained that it is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used to prepare either fresh vegetables or fruit.
"What's great about a juicer is that you can get all of the fruits and vegetables you need without overcooking them or adding lots of calories by doctoring them with fattening sauces," she stated.
In her list of the top kitchen appliances for the warmer months of the year, Ms Rose also suggested picking up a combination food processor and blender or a milkshake maker.
One celebrity who swears by her juicer is Salma Hayek. The actress has revealed that she regularly does 'juice cleanses' to keep her body in good condition and has recently collaborated with Eric Helms to create juice detox programmes lasting three or five days.
