Nintendo 3DS picks up award

Gaming fans may be interested to know that the winners of this year's Game Critics Awards have been announced, with the Nintendo 3DS performing well.
The latest handheld games console from Nintendo picked up the prize for best of show at the E3 2010 exhibition, which took place last month.
And the gaming gadget also walked away with the award for best hardware.
When it comes to Nintendo Wii games, two of the titles available for the console were successful at the ceremony.
Rock Band 3 took the gong for best social/casual game, while NBA Jam from EA Games triumphed in the best sports game category.
The endorsement of critics from within the gaming industry could encourage people to enter online auctions to win Nintendo Wii games.
Meanwhile, Rage - which is available for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 - was named as the best console game by the 31-strong judging panel.
