Philips 40PFL7605H praised by reviewer

1st October 2010

People wishing to upgrade their home cinema set-up by bidding on online auctions for televisions may be interested in one review of the Philips 40PFL7605H.

Writing for Expert Reviews, Riyad Emeran states that the TV is "beautiful looking" and is "complemented by one of the most stylish remote controls we've ever seen".

However, people entering penny auctions may be interested to note that the 40PFL7605H is said to have more to it than aesthetic appeal.

Picture quality is deemed to be "staggeringly good", while the use of Ambilight technology sees light cast from both sides of the television in colours that match the programme on screen.

"Not only does this make the experience more immersive, but it also allows you to turn off all the lights in the room without risking eyestrain," the reviewer points out, while there are a range of connectivity options including four HDMI cables and Ethernet.

Last week, the publication reported that the LG 32LE5900 is "a lovely looking TV".
