Details of new iPod Touch leaked

Details of the new iPod Touch have been leaked and for technology fans looking to enter penny auctions for MP3 players it looks like it could be something really special.

Rob Hennessey, audio and telecoms buyer for John Lewis, revealed various features that will be found on the device, which include a five-megapixel camera, an accelerometer and gyroscope and face time over Wi-Fi.

He added that there is a good chance that Apple will target the iPod Touch towards kids and teenagers, with various multimedia capabilities making it an attractive device for youngsters.

Music fans will learn more about the updated version of the iPod Touch in September.
