Blackadder to be reproduced on Bolton stage
16th August 2010

Fans of the classic comedy series Blackadder may want to head to Lancashire next year to watch a theatrical production due to take place.
Next July, the Marco Players dramatic society will re-enact the sitcom - which starred Rowan Atkinson as the eponymous character - using a selection of episodes from the show, the Bolton News reports.
"Originally we were intending to do a selection from the first three series, but we realised it might make costuming a bit difficult," Jason Crompton, of the Marco Players, said.
Instead, the dramatic society will be focusing on the show's second series, which is set in Elizabethan times.
The Marco Players are set to take to the stage with the Blackadder production on July 15th and 16th at the Chorley Old Road Methodist Church.
If you need a reminder of the adventures of Blackadder prior to the performance then why not bid in online auctions for DVD box-sets?
At Quick2bid you can enter online auctions for DVD box-sets, where you can win films and TV shows for a fraction of the recommend price.
