Garmin launch new satnav range

7th September 2010

As details of a new range of navigation systems - the  nuvi 2300 - have been unveiled by Garmin, you may find that bidding on online auctions for satnavs means you can be certain of reaching your destination.

Featuring a 4.3 inch widescreen display, the products' multi-route preview function allows drivers to decide which journey to take based on factors such as time, fuel cost and distance.

Meanwhile, MyTrends records motorists' specific driving habits, storing information about journeys they make on a regular basis.

Assisted speech recognition and 3D terrain are just some of the satnav's other features.

"Our intention is to offer our customers more than just A to B navigation right across our range, even in our more economically-priced products," Clive Taylor, director of product for Garmin, states.

And while the Garmin nuvi 2300 range is targeted at those drivers on a budget, entering penny auction for satnavs could be an even more effective way for motorists to get a bargain when purchasing navigation systems.

Earlier this month, the firm launched the nuLink! 1695, a satnav that comes with a five-inch touchscreen.
