Gold controller for Goldeneye Wii players

12th August 2010

Fans of the Nintendo 64 title Goldeneye are in for a treat, as the game is set to get a new lease of life on the Nintendo Wii console - complete with special gold controller.

According to Slashgear, many fans of the 007 game were concerned about how it would play with the motion-sensitive Wii remote.

But it now appears they have another option for traditional-style James Bond gameplay - the new title's Classic Edition will come with a gold-coloured Classic Controller.

"The golden motif should look plenty familiar, since you’ll be running around with the golden gun in multiplayer," the blog's Evan Selleck stated.

Goldeneye Classic Edition is set to become available later this year - but if you are keen to get a new console ahead of the big launch, why not try your luck on an online penny auction for Wii consoles at Quick2bid.com?

You may find yourself paying much less than the recommended retail price - and while you are at it, have a look at the auctions for Wii games too.
