Panasonic L42D25B TV commended by reviewer

5th October 2010

Britons wishing to upgrade their home cinema system may want to consider entering online auctions following one reviewer's praise of the Panasonic L42D25B.

Writing for Trusted Reviews, John Archer notes that the model is the first-ever non-plasma TV to have a screen larger than 37 inches.

Instead, the 42-inch TV harnesses LCD technology - a first for Panasonic.

Mr Archer goes on to claim that the TV "is unusually slim by Panasonic standards" -something which could interest people wishing to enter penny auctions for televisions - and comes with a Freesat and Freeview HD tuner built-in.

"The L42D25B's flare for colour and brightness helps typical images look impressively dynamic, by which we mean there seems to be a really wide visible luminance range between the brightest and darkest parts of a single image," he states, as the device was given an overall score of eight out of ten.

Last month, Mr Archer noted that the Toshiba 40SL753 offers users "a good collection of connections".
