Sony launch new home cinema system

2nd September 2010

Sony has released details of its newest home cinema system, which is 3D-capable and offers network connection.

The ES product range from the electronics company combines state-of-the-art technology to give viewers a better home entertainment experience.

High-end receivers have been included in the home cinema package, allowing consumers to customise their system to meet their needs and work within the available space.

Among the features on the latest offerings are 3D pass-through, six HDMI inputs and two outputs, as well as Sony's auto-calibration technology to provide superior sound quality.

Consumers who want to upgrade their home cinema system but are worried that they won't be able to afford the latest technology may want to consider entering penny auctions.

Websites such as Quick2Bid offer online auctions for home cinema systems, where you could walk away with some of the top home entertainment gadgets on the market for a fraction of the recommended retail price.

Last month, Sony announced that it had developed an ultra-compact speaker system designed to provide "room-filling audio".
