Older women 'still want to be stylish'

Women over the age of 50 still want to be stylish and have confidence in their appearance.
This is according to Ceri Wheeldon, editor of FabafterFifty.com, who noted that older ladies are increasingly feeling confident enough to wear items such as bikinis.
She commented that the rise of role models such as Helen Mirren has helped women to feel more comfortable with their figures.
"We want to be age appropriate but with a bit of flair," Ms Wheeldon stated.
A Mintel report released in May found that many women put fashion to one side when they have a family. However, the organisation pointed out that once their children have left home, they "regain an interest in looking well dressed".
