New allotments to help more people grow their own
8th June 2010

A garden centre in Wales has launched a Grow Your Own scheme, which will see it offering 100 allotments to people living in and around Castleton.
Blooms Garden Centre intends to offer a basic plot for £5 per week, while a larger area that will include a greenhouse, shed and water butt will cost £10 per week, Wales Online reported.
The allotments will officially open on July 1st and those involved hope that it will encourage more people to get out and grow their own fruit and vegetables.
And anyone who successfully manages to cultivate their patch could find that they have fresh carrots, potatoes, strawberries and much more available to them at certain seasons.
If you want to do something exciting with all of your fresh fruit and vegetables, why not treat yourself to a new juicer or food processor to help you make the most of the produce?
You could win kitchen appliances such as these in online penny auctions, like those offered by Quick2bid.
By entering an online auction for a food processor, you could be making delicious smoothies and soups from your fresh ingredients in no time.
