LG Blu-ray player praised by reviewer

Movie lovers keen to watch the latest films may want to consider entering online auctions for home cinema systems following one reviewer's assessment of a Blu-ray player.
In an article for Trusted Reviews, Danny Phillips points out that the LG BX580 is DLNA compatible, meaning that it can stream content stored on PCs and hard drives located throughout the home, while it can also play content in 3D as well as the traditional 2D.
"Thankfully LG's simple setup procedure and user-friendly folder-based layout make it blissfully easy to use," he states, adding that the home cinema system can "play an unusually wide range of formats" including Windows Media Audio, mp3 and JPEG.
However, the product also has aesthetic appeal. Praised for having "a minimal look", it was claimed that blue lights found on either side of the Blu-ray 3D logo "are a nice touch".
Those considering entering penny auctions for Blu-ray players might want to consider the Panasonic DMP-BDT100 also. Mr Phillips recently commended the device's ability to broadcast high-quality pictures in both 2D and 3D.
