BlackBerry Torch 9800 praised by reviewer

20th September 2010

Those looking for a new mobile phone may want to consider entering online auctions for BlackBerrys in the wake of one reviewer's assessment of the Torch 9800.

Writing for T3.com, Hannah Bouckley claims that touchscreen commands on the BlackBerry device "are excellent, especially when browsing, which is a sublime experience".

She goes on to praise the handset's 3.2 inch screen, noting that it is of a good enough quality to watch video content on YouTube.

The Torch 9800 is the first device to feature the BlackBerry 6 operating system, which she claims is "simple to use" and offers "a more customisable user experience".

Improvements to the interface and the Torch 9800's battery life were among the other features commended as it received an overall rating of three out of five.

People wishing to bid on penny auctions for BlackBerrys may also be interested in the publication's assessment of the Pearl 3G, which it claimed was an excellent device for sending and receiving emails.
