Panasonic TV's HD functions praised by reviewer

21st September 2010

Those keen on watching high-quality films and television programmes may want to enter online auctions for televisions following one review of the Panasonic Viera TX-L32G20.

Writing for Trusted Reviews, John Archer notes that the 32-inch LCD TV includes both a Freesat HD and Freeview HD tuner.

"Panasonic isn't asking you to choose between the free HD broadcast platforms. It's just trying to ensure that everyone can get HD broadcasts no matter where they live. Which is kind of nice really," he states.

The reviewer goes on to point out that the appliance's SD slot is capable of playing a variety of media files including mp3 and JPEG, while a D-Sub PC port allows it to be connected to a computer.

Meanwhile, the publication's recent assessment of the Philips' 32PFL9705 saw the television commended as being "extremely easy on the eye".

By entering online auctions people can get their hands on televisions and other home cinema appliances for a fraction of their recommended retail value.
