Oxford United Wembley mascot role could offer be a great gift for him

6th May 2010

Inside Wembley Stadium

Blue Square Premier League outfit Oxford United is to hold an online auction giving one lucky fan the chance to lead the side out at the famous Wembley Stadium.

The club has donated the prize to the 12th Man initiative, which aims to raise money for the manager to spend on players.

Just one supporter, who must be under the age of 16, can win the prize to lead the team out on May 16th.

If your son or daughter loves Oxford United, this could be the perfect gift for him or her.

Mark Sennett, a spokesman for 12th Man, told the Oxford Mail that the online auction is not to be missed.

"This is the chance of a lifetime for one lucky young fan – an experience they will never forget," he added.

Championship sides Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion recently held an online auction of players' shirts to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity.
