How the auctions work
- Every auction begins with several hours on the Timer
- Once you are logged in and have credited your Quick2Bid account, you can click on any auction and begin to bid. Just press
to start competing for products - The Bid Price is the cost for you to place a bid at that specific time
- Every time you press ‘Bid Now’ to place a bid, your credit funds will be deducted by the Bid Price amount at that time. The ‘Bid Price’ always starts at 50p and increases by 1p after every third bid i.e. 50p, 50p, 50p, 51p, 51p, 51p, 52p, etc...
- For example: if the ‘Bid Price’ is 55p, it will cost you 55p to place that bid, therefore 55p will be deducted from your credit funds if you press ’Bid Now’. If the ‘Bid Price’ has increased to 56p, it will now cost you 56p to place a bid and 56p will be deducted if you press ‘Bid Now’
- When the auction Timer is less than 15 seconds, every new bid placed will reset it back to 15 seconds (going once, going twice..). This gives each bidder a fair chance to compete for the products
- When the Timer hits ZERO and the auction has finished, if you are the last bidder you have won!
- You can place as many bids as you want to win the product (and of course have fun!)
- It is easy to top-up your account via the ‘Top up Credit’ at the top of each page. Be sure to keep enough credit in your account so that you don’t miss out during an auction
- As you will see below, on the rare occasion that an auction goes on for too long, the computer system will alert all bidders that the next 15 seconds will be the last. See Stage 3 below, to find out why

Earning and using Bonus Points
You earn Bonus Points by bidding early on in the auction. These Bonus Points can then be used during the latter stages of the auction when the Bid Price is higher. This keeps the game interesting throughout as you need to play tactically from the start for the best opportunities to win.
There are up to 3 stages of each auction, which tell you how to earn and use your bonus points:
Each Bonus Point allows you to place a bid for only 50p in the same auction after the first stage, regardless of Bid Price at the time.
Stage 1: Collect your Bonus Points
The number of Bonus Points you automatically earn for each bid in this stage depends upon when you place your bids:
In this example, if you place a bid when the Bid Price is £1.24, your account will be debited by £1.24 and you will automatically receive 3 Bonus Points.
Stage 1 for each auction ends at a different bid price. The example above clearly displays that earning Bonus Points will end when the Bid Price reaches £1.39, meaning that thereafter you can no longer earn Bonus Points.
Use this to plan when you are going to place your earlier bids, so that you can maximise your Bonus Points and give yourself the best opportunity to get a bargain later on.
There is more about this in Strategy2Bid
Stage 2: Use your Bonus Points now
The ‘Bid Price’ continues to climb as normal, but now you can use your Bonus Points to place bids for only 50p, rather than the full bid price.
In this example, after the Bid Price had passed £1.39, the 16 Bonus Points you had collected earlier in stage 1 would let you place your next 16 bids for only 50p each regardless of the ‘Bid Price’.
Bonus Points cannot be transferred into other auctions and must be used during the same auction.
(See Strategy2Bid to see how you can use this to your advantage).
If you run out of Bonus Points then the full ‘Bid Price’ has to be paid to place your bid.
When the Timer is below 15 seconds, every bid will reset the clock back to 15 seconds. This will continue until no more bids are placed, at which point we will have a winner.
Stage 3: Final Countdown
At Quick2Bid, we want to give away as many products as possible, and don’t want you to get restless. On the rare occasion that an auction goes on for too long, the final countdown will start.
When this happens, the Bid Price will freeze and the Timer will have a final 15 seconds on it THAT WILL NOT RESET. You and all the other bidders will have that final 15 seconds to place bids and try to be the last bidder to win the auction.
The Bonus Points that you collected in stage 1 can also be used during the Final Countdown.

Auction Reminders
On every auction page, you will see a 'Remind Me' button, which can be used to alert you when your favourite auctions are close to ending.
It's simple:
Once you hit the 'Remind Me' button the reminder pop-up will appear. Fill in your mobile number to receive your reminder by email and text message or leave the mobile number field blank to only receive the reminder by email. Emails reminders are sent to the email address that you registered with.
Your reminder alert is saved in the system once you hit 'Set Reminder' at the bottom of the pop-up window.
You will now see the 'Reminder Set' button on the auction page and when there is approximately 20 minutes left on the timer, you will be sent a reminder of the auction.
Don't forget... ALL Text Message and Email Reminders are completely FREE!

Quick2Bid in action
Coming soon.
What happens when you win?
If you are the last player to place a bid, then you have won the auction. Well done! At Quick2Bid, we want your bargain to be a bargain, so once you win a prize, you pay nothing more for it and we will take care of all delivery charges.
As a Quick2Bid winner you will be appointed a Prize Coordinator who will contact you shortly after the auction has ended to ensure you receive your product as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We guarantee that you will receive your prize within 14 days of your win.
Once you receive your product from Quick2Bid, we want to hear about how much you loved it, so we will ask for feedback that will be posted on the 'Auctions Winners' page for everyone to see.
