What is Quick2Bid?

Quick2Bid is a new entertainment shopping game where you tactically compete to bag a bargain.

How is Quick2Bid different?

Since the inception of Quick2Bid, we have been very determined to lead the way whole-heartedly, rather than follow like sheep.

The nature of how you pay to place bids on Quick2Bid, in order to try to bag a bargain, makes us very different to traditional online and offline auctions.

In fact, we are also very unlike any other pay-per-bid sites out there because we:

  • Keep Quick2Bid auctions interesting and strategic throughout, with our unique concept that combines a slowly increasing ‘Bid Price’ with Bonus Points for bidding early on

I'm new at this and haven't won anything yet – how can you help?

We are so confident that you will become a Quick2Bid Winner before you know it, that (having added credit to your Quick2Bid account) if you haven’t won your first prize within your first month, we will automatically return all credit that you have spent during that first month back to your Quick2Bid account.

How do I purchase credit?

You will see the 'Top-up Credit' link at the top of every page on the site. Whenever you need to add-to your credit, just press on the link to go through to our quick and simple payment form.

Remember, keep sufficient credit in your account so that you don’t run out when you most need it in auction. When your credit is below £2.50, it will flash in red to remind you.

We accept all the major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal.

How do Quick2Bid auctions work?

The ‘Bid Price’ displayed is the amount you pay from your Quick2Bid credit funds, to place a bid (by pressing the ‘Bid Now’ button) at that specific time to become the current winning bidder.

If you are the current winning bidder when the Timer hits ZERO, you have won.

The ‘Bid Price’ on every auction starts at 50p and increases by 1p after every third bid. Once the auction Timer is less than 15 seconds, every new bid placed will reset this Timer back up to 15 seconds.

What are Bonus Points?

Each Bonus Point allows you to place a bid in that auction for only 50p, regardless of what the Bid Price is at that time.

You earn them by bidding in the first stage of an auction, and can use them to place bids during the second and third stages of that auction.

This keeps the game interesting as you need to play tactically from the start for the best opportunities to win.

What is the 'The Final Countdown'?

On the very rare occasion that an auction continues for too long, the system will bring this third stage of the auction into play – the Bid Price is frozen and there is a final 15 seconds on the clock that will not reset. Don’t worry, we will warn all bidders when we are going to do this.

At Quick2Bid, we are keen to give bidders as much opportunity to win as possible by putting up lots more of the same popular auctions, rather than hindering players with a single over-competitive auction.

Are there any limits on what I can bid on?

No, you can bid as much as you want on any live auctions. To keep the game fair and give everyone the best opportunities, we do have a limit of 3 wins within any seven day rolling period

Are there any fees?

There are no fees or subscriptions for playing Quick2Bid. All you need is sufficient credit to pay for a bid when you want to place it.

Who am I playing against?

The only people you compete for bargains against are the other Quick2Bid players, which is why we suggest you keep an eye on the bidding activity as part of your tactics.

Whilst we love Quick2Bid, to keep your game and experience fair, we will never participate in the game (as detailed in our Terms & Conditions). Unlike many other sites, we also do not operate any type of reserve price or auto-bot (shill) bidders. As the site grows, we will be getting full independent verification of this.

As such, Quick2Bid is committed to fairness and transparency throughout.

How do I set myself a reminder for an auction?

On every auction page, you will find a 'Remind Me' button. Once you press it, the reminder pop-up will appear. Fill in your mobile number and hit 'Set Reminder' to receive the reminder by email and text message or leave the mobile number field blank and hit 'Set Reminder' to receive it only by email.

Once set, when there is approximately 20 minutes left on the timer, you will be sent a reminder of the auction... very useful for jogging your memory about your favourite prizes. 

The best thing is, all reminders (Text and Email) are FREE!

I’ve just won an auction... Do I have to pay for anything further for my prize?

Firstly, well played and well done!

Secondly, unlike other sites, we will not obligate you to pay us anything further for your prize or its delivery – we take care of all of that.

You will be appointed a Prize Coordinator who will contact you shortly after the auction has ended, to make sure you receive your product as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will receive your prize within 14 days.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for Quick2Bid are minimal. You are required to use an Internet Browser with cookies and Javascript enabled. We would also recommend that you have a broadband connection with a minimum speed of 512k.

Are all products new?

Yes, they are all new - we do not do second hand items. Where relevant, the items will also come with standard manufacturer’s warranty as well.

How do I edit my personal information?

Every Quick2Bid player has a user area, where you can view your details and edit the personal information that we hold about you.

We are registered and fully compliant of the Data Protection Act, as per our Privacy Policy.

Do you store my payment details?

No, all your payment information is collected and handled by our professional PCI-compliant payment processors (SagePay and PayPal).

This is why we do not retain your details and ask you to enter your payment info every time you credit your account.

If someone (such as your boss) is nearby and you need to look like you are doing some work, rather than fumbling around to close the window, just press the boss button to hide the screen. Once they have moved on, you can click anywhere to return back to Quick2Bid … Go on, give it a go and try it for yourself!
